Quality & Process
Industrial processing standards. Full batch traceability. This is what separates professional recycled materials from hobby-grade products.
Our Process
From post-consumer and post-industrial waste to ready-to-use pellets. Every step designed for consistency and quality.
Washing & Cleaning
All incoming material is thoroughly washed to remove contaminants, labels, and residue. This ensures clean feedstock for the next stages.
Sorting
Materials are sorted by polymer type and colour. Advanced sorting ensures consistency and prevents cross-contamination between material types.
Shredding
Clean, sorted plastic is shredded into uniform flakes. Consistent particle size ensures even melting and processing characteristics.
Pelletising
Shredded material is melted and extruded into uniform pellets. This creates easy-to-handle, consistent material ready for processing.
Quality Control
Each batch is tested and inspected. Material that doesn't meet our standards is reprocessed or redirected. Only quality material moves forward.
Batch Numbering
Every bag is labelled with a unique batch number. Full traceability from production to delivery. Know exactly what you're working with.
Why This Matters
Inconsistent material quality is the biggest frustration for makers working with recycled plastic. Contamination, mixed polymers, and poor processing lead to failed projects and wasted time.
Our industrial process eliminates these problems. When you buy from RPR, you get material that's been professionally processed, tested, and controlled. The same standards used for large-scale manufacturing, available in small quantities.
Batch traceability means you can reorder the same material. Found a combination that works? Note the batch number and we can match it on your next order when that batch is still available.
What You Get
- Consistent material properties within each batch
- Clean material, free from contamination
- Accurate polymer identification
- Uniform pellet or shred size
- Full batch traceability
Not What You Get
- Mystery plastic from unknown sources
- Mixed polymers that won't process correctly
- Contaminated or dirty material
